Do you recall attending summer camp when you were a kid? What were the highlights? What is the first thing about camp that you recall? Was it the life-long friend you made? Was it learning how to shoot with a bow and arrow? Maybe the crazy ballgames? Or staying up half the night telling stories and giggling over silly stuff? Some of you encountered Jesus for the first time–and accepted him into your heart and life.

Camp for our CarePoint kids is just the same. Children’s Cup will hold seven of these camps in 2010 if we can get sponsors for them.

Each camp costs $2500–that amount includes food and equipment and art supplies and the place to hold camp.Most importantly, we give them Jesus. Jesus, the giver of hope and peace and joy.

We are looking for seven churches or groups who want to make Camp a blessing to a whole bunch of kids.
