MAKE PEGGY LEADS THE WAY
Make (MA gay, mother) Peggy is amazing—a great example.
She has opened her generous heart and her humble home to care for more than a dozen orphans. We call her place Children’s Cup’s “I Am Not Forgotten Home # 1.” It is so successful we are building more–#2 is already operating (Thanks, Alice!). We are planning many more IFN homes. It costs about $13,000 to build the house and $100 per month per child to operate.
Without the INF homes these children would be scrounging the garbage dumps and roaming the streets looking for food and shelter. Daytime for orphans is hard, and nighttime is unspeakable as predators abuse the defenseless innocents.
We just visited Make Peggy’s place and once again sensed the great spirit of this selfless lady. She told us (almost apologetically) that she had taken part of the Christmas gifts and food that had been given to her and her orphans out to the rural homesteads and shared them with needy children there. Out of her own funds she paid over $100 (a large part of her personal income) for bus fare to take all her orphans with her to share the food and presents with the rural kids. None of the children—givers and receivers—will ever forget it. Servolution* Africa style!
What an example for her children!
Make Peggy is a model of the spirit and dedication of the Children’s Cup team.
I’m telling you her story to illustrate how profound and deep-reaching Children’s Cup ministry has become, and to appeal for your help.
We truly need help.
Here is a picture of Make Peggy and her kids getting ready to go out on their own Christmas Servolution. Make Peggy and her INF home for children know how to share the Love of Jesus.
