I've listened to my kids pray over 30 times. They are 12, almost 11 and 6 years old. God, I want my kids to be more yours than mine. I want to show them who you are AND what you are like more than what my flesh is like. Help Julie and I to raise them to love you more than any thing else. Thank you for these 3 gifts. They are yours. I also pray for the children that we have prayed with, those kids who are across the water and thousands of miles away in Africa. Raise up some who will lead many, many others to do great things for you. Shock us all by how you lead and use the kids. Thank you for letting my family be part of 40 Days of Prayer with the Children. Build, hold, use and make Children's Cup your light to every place they touch. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen. Encourage them as they work - perhaps not on the soil of Africa - but as those who keep the workers in Africa in the battle! But Lord I pray that You would lead them straight into the arms of someone whose heart is as big as Yours, someone who can and will care for them as though their very own. Bring them directly to the one who will feed them and clothe them and provide for their every need, in Jesus name. Father I pray also for the hearts of Your people working through Children's Cup, to never grow tired or weary of all that they are doing for and in these children's lives. I pray that You would bless each one of them beyond their imagination. Bless the fruits of their work over and above anything they could ever think of. All these I pray through the name of Your Precious Son, Christ Jesus, AMEN! Father I pray a supernatural hedge of protection around each and every one of them as they live their lives in service to You everyday. Be with their parents and other families throughout the world. Bless them, Anoint them with Your Holy Spirit, and Equip them in every area of their life so as to get Your Work done. Thank You Lord for hand-picking each and every one of those in the mission field, whether they are in Africa, Brazil, or here in the U.S., continue to provide for their needs as they continue to sow seeds and reap in the harvest for Your Kingdom. How these precious young ones are made to be the Head of the Household and forced to fend for themselves and their younger siblings, at such a young age. That thought just messed me up big time! I whine and complain about running my own household, as an adult, with the means to do so, without much effort on my part. Once again I am made to see just how incredibly ungrateful and selfish I am, as well as how wonderfully blessed I have been, Blessed so that I can be a blessing to others. Father I come to You faced-down in the name of Your Son, Christ Jesus and ask, no beg!! Lord that You would forgive me once again, for my selfish and ungrateful heart. I pray that You would show Mercy towards me for failing to see this error in my heart. Lord PLEASE I beg of You to open my eyes to see, my ears to hear, my heart to accept, and my feet to walk in ALL that You have for me in accord to Your Perfect Will. Father, Thank You for messing me up, Thank You for tearing open my heart over this issue and never let me forget it. OMG, this just blew my mind. Growing up, I remember my parents telling me not to waste food and to always be thankful to have something to eat because there are starving kids in Africa that would love to eat what I would throw in the trash. I pray also Father, that no child, whether in Africa or anywhere else on this earth, would ever go to sleep at night wondering if someone in the world cares for or loves them. Place Your Love inside of them and show them how much You care for them Lord and that You will never leave them. Be with the workers of Children's Cup, who invest so much time, love and attention into the lives of these children. I pray a downpour of Your Holy Spirit into their lives as You equip them with guidance, wisdom, and discernment to tend to the needs of all those vunerable and broken lives. In Jesus name. Lord I pray that You would place a covering over all these things, as well as over the "other" drivers that will be sharing the roads with those that You have equipped to carry out this Work. Father light their path and make their paths easy and rewarding as they do these things onto You Lord. In Jesus name, Amen!
