Day 2 - Medicine

2 August 2009 7 Comments

A dab of salve from the corner drug store helps heal the wounds of my child. The little ones Children’s Cup cares for also receive that kind of care. But what about the kids who have no one to wash and bandage their cuts and kiss their bruises? They often get infection that leads to loss of limbs and even death.

“He treated his wounds with olive oil and wine and bandaged them. Then he put him on his own donkey and took him to an inn, where he took care of him.” - Luke 10:34 (CEV)

Lord, thank you for the team of medical professionals and trained caregivers that are helping so many of the kids in the Children’s Cup carepoints in Swaziland, Mozambique, and Zimbabwe. We ask for continued favor in this area - for resources, for personnel, and for wisdom as they give the much-needed care to these precious kids. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Dear Jesus I ask that you would pour out your Spirit to day on the childern of Africa that you would make away were there seems to be no way. And that you would help these sweet childern be able to get the medicine that they need. Lord God I pray that you would bless the hands that are willing to serve you. In Jesus name I pray amen.

Dear Lord, I truly thank you for the medical teams which travel to these places in need, or are already there serving the Lord by service to these children. Lord I ask that you keep your angels about them, keeping them safe, healthy and protected so that they can continue to do your work.
    In Jesus Name
    Amen

Jesus lay the needs of the millions of impoverished children around the world, on the hearts of doctors, Phar. Companies, rich people, middle class people, everyone! Show them how little money it takes to get a child on medication that without that medication, could die. Thank you for Children’s Cup. Show us ALL how we can do more to get medication to these children. Amen.

Great Prayer Steve. Really touched my heart.

Dear Lord, bless these Medical care givers as they attend to the needs of the children in Africa. Lord give them healing hands and let there deeds shine Your light and forgiveness onto everyone they touch or come in contact with, while doing this needed work for Your children. Lord let us all be like the Samaritan and help these children in any way we can. Lord bless the children and bless the rest of these 40 days as we go forward. In your son Jesus Christ Amen!!

Father God, please turn Your attention to the medical needs of Your precious children in Africa, anoint them and cleanse them in the blood of Your Son, Christ Jesus. Your Word at Isaiah 53: 5 states…by His wounds we are healed. AMEN!!!
