This is the very same stadium where hundreds of Rwandans were butchered because they were from the "wrong tribe."

Now, hundreds found new life in Christ in these meetings timed to commemorate the 100 days genocide 14 years earlier.

The genocide is over but the emotional and economic aftermath still make life hard.

This gentle child carries more than a load of firewood--she knows what happened to her parents and grandparents--and wonders if it will happen again...

"HOTEL RWANDA"

We are looking down from the top floor of the hotel where the events told in the movie "Hotel Rwanda" actually happened.

The pool area was the site of savagery and death--unthinkable agony.

We were there for Hope Rwanda cooperative effort of Hillsong, Joyce Meyer Ministries, Children's Cup, and other ministries.

Tens of thousands came to the stadium (the very one where thousands more were butchered) to hear Joyce preach a message of forgiveness.

It could be that more people found new life in Christ on that field than died there in the genocide!

A site that had seen so much death became the new-birth place for thousands.

God always gets the last word.
