A Heart for Dayizenza

A Heart for Dayizenza

   Thabisile Mokoena
   8 February 2019

A very rural community, Dayizenza is situated on the edge of a larger town in South Africa. Plagued with a high unemployment rate and lacking basic services such as running water and sewer, many families are experiencing tough times.

Additionally, Children in this area are often neglected, undereducated, or have special needs. Fortunately, improvements are slowly being made to the community, including a vegetable garden—where Sindile’s husband works.

Sindile has faithfully sown into the Dayizenza CarePoint in South Africa for two years. Each morning, she gathers others for a time of prayer and worship—believing for expanded reach and influence for Christ in their community.

Her heart is for the children of Dayizenza. She prepares the CarePoint for children by cooking the meals from Feed My Starving Children. Treating each child equally with love and respect is paramount to her. No matter the situation or circumstances they come from, she continues to pour dignity and kindness into the life of each child.

All three of her children come to the CarePoint to learn about Jesus. Her husband’s income is very small and the healthy meals available at the CarePoint are a great blessing for their family. She is the epitome of being blessed to be a blessing.

Sponsorship changes everything, and Sandile dreams of seeing more children sponsored. Click here to sponsor a child from Daizenza.
