Back to School Eswatini!

Back to School Eswatini!

   Dan Ohlerking
   May 16, 2022

Our teams have had a blast distributing new backpacks, school supplies, Bible teachings, and treats to children at our CarePoints across Eswatini, Africa.

Praise (one of the children at our CarePoints) mentioned something that stays in my heart. He said "Thank you, Aunty. You know I am still using my backpack that you last gave me. You see, I am taking good care of my backpacks so that it will last me longer because my mother cannot afford to buy backpacks for all of us."

The smile on his face after getting his backpack was amazing to experience. His smile got even bigger when I told him there was a surprise inside and he took a peek!

This Back to School effort is not just a project to us at Children’s Cup. It is truly part of giving hope and encouraging our children to attend school and that Jesus will provide for all their needs.

-Thabisile, Mganduzweni CarePoint Coordinator

Part of our vision at Children’s Cup is to inspire children like Praise to dream big! And education is an essential part of seeing dreams become reality. While it may seem simple, for many of the children we care for, having school supplies is a major stepping stone along the way. In fact, in many areas - school supplies are actually required for students to even be allowed to attend school. That’s why this Back to School project is so important and it’s one of the first practical steps in helping kids dream big and have all that they need to see those dreams come to life.

Thank YOU for sowing seeds into their big dreams and giving them hope! The future is bright!
