Choosing Hope: A Sponsorship Journey

Choosing Hope: A Sponsorship Journey

   Katie Chatham
   22 October 2019

We are blessed with incredible partners at Children’s Cup who sponsor one or more children each month. Our sponsors understand the life-changing impact hope can make! Each of our incredible sponsors say “no” to something every month so they can say “YES” to sponsoring their child.

Here is the story of one of our many families who have chosen to sow seeds of hope and the incredible fruit that is coming from their sacrifice...

“My husband and I have had the privilege and honor of sponsoring four children throughout our journey with Children’s Cup. We have been incredibly blessed and had the opportunity to go and meet three of those four children. My husband leads the missions teams from our church and gets to go to Belize twice a year. I have only been there once, but cannot wait to get back! There have been times throughout our sponsorship journey that making the monthly commitment has not impacted us financially. There’s also been times when we have had to get very creative and go without some of our wants because of our commitment to sponsoring our kids.

My favorite part is seeing the impact it has made on our younger children. Our daughters, even at age three and five, love to color pictures to send to our two children we sponsor now. We have all four pictures on our fridge and pray for them daily. We are so grateful for the opportunity through Children’s Cup to have known and continue to sponsor these amazing children! It’s just one way we can impact someone else’s life and be a tangible way to show the love of Jesus!”
