Epic Church in eSwatini

Epic Church in eSwatini

   Halle Erwin
   22 February 2019

"You don't realize you're a part of a miracle happening. You don't see yourself really being a miracle in someone else's life. You can do something for someone else and they actually see it as a miracle."

The continued obedience and prayer from Pastor Bheki is nothing short of inspiring. For years, he's submitted to God, believing to see a promise fulfilled. Today, God has equipped him to expand the vision of Epic Church to the culture in Lonhlupheko.

The community of Lonhlupheko is drought-stricken. The landscape of the region is very flat with little vegetation due to the lack of rainfall. The people of Lonhlupheko plow just as hard as everyone else in the country, but because of the extreme heat, the crops dry out. This has led to high unemployment and extreme poverty.

Team members from Epic Church say it's hard to put into words what's happening in Lonhlupheko today. The local men are taking ownership and pride in this partnership.

"This was God's plan. Every one of these guys was chosen by God."

"I thought I was coming here to help them, and they've helped me more than I could've ever imagined."

The kingdom of God is growing!
