It Takes A Village

It Takes A Village

   Dan Ohlerking
   Jun 22, 2022

Lwazi, who is not only a facilitator at our LudzeLudze Carepoint, but also a father of two young girls who attend there, shared how his family is being beautifully touched because of your support.

“Serving and caring for children in our community is what I love to do. But it wasn’t until I heard my own daughters sharing their own testimonies that I realized how much Children’s Cup has impacted my family personally.”

“If it weren’t for the Wellness Mobile Clinics, we may have never known that Aliziwe needed glasses. If it weren’t for the care programs, Sibonelo may have never gotten the HIV treatment she needed or medication for her epilepsy.”

“Hearing both of my girls share how grateful they are for the daily meals, mobile clinics, psycho social support, Children’s Cup Care HIV/AIDS Program, and so much more - made me realize that there is a future for them! Regardless of the adversaries and traumatic experiences they have gone through - They see life differently!”

“Raising children certainly comes with its hardships and challenges – but we have learned the truth of the old African proverb ‘it takes a village to raise a child’ and we are wholeheartedly grateful to Children’s Cup for being that village for us.”

~Lwazi, LudzeLudze CarePoint Facilitator
