Overcoming Fear

Overcoming Fear

Part Three — Do It Afraid

If you wait until you feel NO fear, you will never do anything great.

I’ve learned that I’m never more than 65% sure about most decisions. That may shock you, but I’ve learned if I wait for 100% surety, the opportunity is long gone.

The decision to leave our solid income and take our 3-year-old and 16-month-old kids to Zimbabwe, Africa, to help build a ministry to kids that most people didn’t value was CRAZY!! Everything including logic was against this decision, but we had a clear word from the Lord!  “GO”

So, we stepped out with more questions than answers, shaking in our shoes but with a determination to be obedient to God’s plan for us.
