GET TO KNOW THE COMMUNITY OF EL PEJE - DOMINICAN REPUBLIC
El Peje means “the fish” (or Ichthus). This small town has just under 1,000 inhabitants including adults, youth, and children - many of Haitian descent. In spite of poverty, lack of resources, and high unemployment rates, the people here are full of love. There is such a beautiful air of humility, and you can feel a strong sense of hope from those who know Jesus as their shepherd. Our prayer for the children of El Peje is that, as we walk alongside of them, providing refuge, food, and care, that God would fill every need, touch every heart, and bring out the world changer inside of them!
