Bonkhe Hlophe

Bonkhe makes good grades in school. Out of all his studies, he enjoys his math class the most. After school, he can't wait to get to the soccer field to play with his buddies. Bonkhe is healthy and helps out at home by gathering firewood. He lives with his unemployed mother and has seven siblings. They usually eat pap and beans for dinner, a common dish in his country. Bonkhe is clever and has the potential to grow up into a strong leader. In fact, he wants to be a teacher when he grows up.

Zombodze

Zombodze is found in the center of eSwatini with homes built on “Swazi Nation Land” governed by a chief that consist of extended families living in one compound. People on homesteads farm for commercial use, as well as for family consumption. Most laws and implementations are regulated by the national “kraal,” where all legal matters are handled by kangaroo courts with the chief serving as judge. There are a few schools in the surrounding area where most of the children can attend.

eSwatini

Only slightly smaller than New Jersey, Eswatini is almost completely bordered by South Africa, with a portion of the country bordered by Mozambique. More than half of the population live below the poverty line, and around 38% of the population is under the age of 15.

HOW YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE
All it takes is $39 a month to make a huge impact in this child's life! Your support goes directly to help provide for and empower them. Sponsoring a child will also impact your life!

GIVING HOPE IS SIMPLE, YET EFFECTIVE

Through CarePoints in local communities, Children's Cup provides the necessities and skills needed to thrive, but most of all we provide children the opportunity to learn about Christ.

Through generous sponsorship, you're providing hope and encouragement, but most importantly you're letting these children know their life has value and that they are loved. Thank you!
