Carlo Reyes

Dominican Republic

San Isidro

02/04/2006

Carlo Reyes

Blessed to live with both his parents and three siblings, Carlo prays that God will take care of his family and everyone. Carlo is tasked with the chore of washing dishes after meals and doesn't mind it since he usually gets to do it with a full tummy of his favorite food; rice. He is friendly to everyone he meets and desires to become a doctor when he is older. For now, he is working hard in school and progressing well with math being his favorite subject. Sponsorship would help to strengthen Carlo both physically and spiritually. Would you consider sponsoring him today?

San Isidro

San Isidro is a mixture of two communities. According to oral history, San Isidro emerged in the late eighteenth century. Many of the African slaves who were brought in to cut sugar cane escaped from the plantations and took refuge here, forming a small village. The people of this area perform different types of work. Some are drivers while others sell food, clothing, or candy from their houses. Moral corruption is a widespread problem.
