Cebadilla
Cebadilla is a town of about 700 people. Its labor activity is agriculture, growing mainly coffee, corn, and beans. However, sources of labor are still very scarce, and wages are very low, causing some farmers to migrate for work. There are many cases in which one parent will leave their family in search of a better future for them, causing family disintegration. Malnutrition and lack of education are community-wide issues for the children of Cebadilla. In terms of education, this village has only kindergarten and primary school, so most of the children are expected to work in the field after finishing the 6th grade.
Honduras
About the same size as Tennessee, Honduras is a diverse country of nine million people located in Central America. Drastic unemployment and hopelessness fuel violent gang activity all over the country. Seeking a better future, tens of thousands leave in search of a better life.

GIVING HOPE IS SIMPLE, YET EFFECTIVE
Through CarePoints in local communities, Children's Cup provides the necessities and skills needed to thrive, but most of all we provide children the opportunity to learn about Christ.
Through generous sponsorship, you're providing hope and encouragement, but most importantly you're letting these children know their life has value and that they are loved. Thank you!
