Marcus Canul
Marcos Canul is a community of about 4,200 people. The majority of people living in this area speak both Spanish and English. Most of the income in this village comes from sugarcane and other crops. This community is under heavy security of the armed forces since many of the villagers are heavily involved in contraband from Mexico. The struggles that this impoverished community faces include drug addiction, lack of solid family structures, prostitution, and very few opportunities. The children in the community are exposed to these things at an early age. Opportunity and hope for a better future are represented here at the CarePoint, introducing children to love and life.
Belize
Belize is situated in the Caribbean Sea, south of Mexico, and is about the size of New Hampshire. About 60% of the total population is made up of children and youth. Belize, with all its natural beauty and loving people, still has the highest murder rate per capita in all of Latin America.

GIVING HOPE IS SIMPLE, YET EFFECTIVE
Through CarePoints in local communities, Children's Cup provides the necessities and skills needed to thrive, but most of all we provide children the opportunity to learn about Christ.
Through generous sponsorship, you're providing hope and encouragement, but most importantly you're letting these children know their life has value and that they are loved. Thank you!
