Port Loyola
Port Loyola is an urban ghetto and is home to a huge portion of the population of Belize. Many of these children and youth live in poverty and are exposed to violence and civil unrest. This phenomenon has contributed to an increase in gang-related crimes, homicides, school dropouts, teenage pregnancy, child prostitution, sexual diseases, and other serious issues. Little emphasis is being made to reach the children and youth on the south-side. They are considered criminal and uneducated.
Belize
Belize is situated in the Caribbean Sea, south of Mexico, and is about the size of New Hampshire. About 60% of the total population is made up of children and youth. Belize, with all its natural beauty and loving people, still has the highest murder rate per capita in all of Latin America.

GIVING HOPE IS SIMPLE, YET EFFECTIVE
Through CarePoints in local communities, Children's Cup provides the necessities and skills needed to thrive, but most of all we provide children the opportunity to learn about Christ.
Through generous sponsorship, you're providing hope and encouragement, but most importantly you're letting these children know their life has value and that they are loved. Thank you!
