Teupasenti
Teupasenti is a picturesque town of about 30,000 people nestled in the hills of southeast Honduras. In an area that depends largely on agriculture, the population must either own sizable tracts of land, which few do, or depend on the harvest of the region's only cash crop of coffee. This “opportunity" separates men and women from their families for 3-4 months out of the year while only partially for the needs of their home. Left unattended, many children are forced to fend for themselves or live with grandparents who are not able to adequately provide for their needs.
Honduras
About the same size as Tennessee, Honduras is a diverse country of nine million people located in Central America. Drastic unemployment and hopelessness fuel violent gang activity all over the country. Seeking a better future, tens of thousands leave in search of a better life.

GIVING HOPE IS SIMPLE, YET EFFECTIVE
Through CarePoints in local communities, Children's Cup provides the necessities and skills needed to thrive, but most of all we provide children the opportunity to learn about Christ.
Through generous sponsorship, you're providing hope and encouragement, but most importantly you're letting these children know their life has value and that they are loved. Thank you!
