La Cumbre
La Cumbre, a town of 800, is near mountains. Its labor activity is agriculture, with coffee, corn, and beans being the main crops. The job opportunities are sparse, and the wages are low even for those who are fortunate enough to have work. Most of the homes lack electricity and water, which creates difficult living situations when the mountainous temperatures get cold. The village only has one elementary school. Most mothers teach their children kindergarten, and most children end their education at sixth grade to go work since there is no opportunity for any higher education nearby. The hope of Jesus is desperately needed in this place where many dreams are left unfulfilled.

GIVING HOPE IS SIMPLE, YET EFFECTIVE
Through CarePoints in local communities, Children's Cup provides the necessities and skills needed to thrive, but most of all we provide children the opportunity to learn about Christ.
Through generous sponsorship, you're providing hope and encouragement, but most importantly you're letting these children know their life has value and that they are loved. Thank you!
