Hhelehhele
The Hhelehhele community is found in a town called Pigg’s Peak which is home to some of eSwatini's most beautiful waterfalls and several mountain ranges. The temperatures are rather extreme with cold winters and really hot summers with lots of rain. Unemployment is very high. Approximately 20% of the people are hired at the Mondi forests where they work on timber and the rest of the population is unemployed. Roughly 95% of the students don't graduate from high school because they lack school fees or career guidance. Even then, some of those who do graduate from high school end up staying at home with no funds to progress further to University.
eSwatini
Only slightly smaller than New Jersey, Eswatini is almost completely bordered by South Africa, with a portion of the country bordered by Mozambique. More than half of the population live below the poverty line, and around 38% of the population is under the age of 15.

GIVING HOPE IS SIMPLE, YET EFFECTIVE
Through CarePoints in local communities, Children's Cup provides the necessities and skills needed to thrive, but most of all we provide children the opportunity to learn about Christ.
Through generous sponsorship, you're providing hope and encouragement, but most importantly you're letting these children know their life has value and that they are loved. Thank you!
