Lecture Martin

This little guy is named Lecture! However, his family has nicknamed him Prince. He is doing well in all his classes where his favorite subject is math. He wants to be a policeman when he grows up. Prince is learning so much at a young age by serving his family with washing dishes to help around the house. Prince lives with his uncle, cousin, and mother, who works as a cleaner. He has one sister who lives with him. In his spare time, this friendly boy enjoys playing soccer and dodgeball. Please encourage Prince by choosing him as your sponsored child.

Tjakastad

Tjakastad is a town on the hillside with a hot climate. The closest town with access to groceries is nearly two miles away, so often the shoulder of the road is filled with people walking to and from the community. The houses are built by the community members, however, some homes are provided by the government for the elderly and exceptionally poor in this community. Although some of the fathers are fortunate enough to find work in a nearby mine, most parents depend on social grants for putting food on the table.
