Las Vinas

11/01/2011

Liliana Rosas

Liliana lives with her mother and sister. Her mother is a shopkeeper. A common meal in their home is enchiladas. Liliana prays that God would help her in her studies at school. For fun, she likes riding her bike, playing with dolls, and playing with the kids in her neighborhood. When Liliana grows up, she wants to be a teacher and help other kids.

Las Vinas

Las Vinas is one of the oldest neighborhoods in the town of Aguascalientes. The people who live here don’t have much access to education. It is considered to be one of the poorest areas of the city with a lack of water, sewerage, and electricity. Most of the kids are taken care of by their grandmothers, as their mothers are always working and there is usually an evident absence of a fatherly figure. The CarePoint here is a place for the children of Las Vinas to start dreaming of a hope for a better future.

Mexico

Mexico is a large and beautiful country that is rich in resources. 45.5% of Mexicans live below the poverty line, surviving on less than one US dollar per day. The drug trade has ravaged this country, leaving broken families and crushed spirits in its wake.

HOW YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE
All it takes is $39 a month to make a huge impact in this child's life! Your support goes directly to help provide for and empower them. Sponsoring a child will also impact your life!

GIVING HOPE IS SIMPLE, YET EFFECTIVE

Through CarePoints in local communities, Children's Cup provides the necessities and skills needed to thrive, but most of all we provide children the opportunity to learn about Christ.

Through generous sponsorship, you're providing hope and encouragement, but most importantly you're letting these children know their life has value and that they are loved. Thank you!
