Mangwaneni
Mangwaneni is in a mountainous region of eSwatini. Most of the families live in brick or stick and mud houses. Very few of the homes have running water or electricity. Because of its mountainous terrain, not many crops can be grown, but they do succeed in growing some of the staple food, maize. Due to its altitude, Mangwaneni is one of the coldest parts of the country in the winter. Children in the community are typically very helpful in doing house chores, gardening, and caring for younger siblings.
eSwatini
Only slightly smaller than New Jersey, Eswatini is almost completely bordered by South Africa, with a portion of the country bordered by Mozambique. More than half of the population live below the poverty line, and around 38% of the population is under the age of 15.

GIVING HOPE IS SIMPLE, YET EFFECTIVE
Through CarePoints in local communities, Children's Cup provides the necessities and skills needed to thrive, but most of all we provide children the opportunity to learn about Christ.
Through generous sponsorship, you're providing hope and encouragement, but most importantly you're letting these children know their life has value and that they are loved. Thank you!
