Magnificent Zulu

Magnificent Zulu

This youngster has quite a confident personality--possibly you would too, if you had been given the name Magnificent. He loves school, especially his language class of Siswati and he is getting good grades overall. He lives with both parents and a sister, where he helps out by washing dishes after meals. Even though just bread is their usual meal, Magnificent is in good health. In his free time he enjoys drawing and coloring. If he could become a police officer when he is grown, that would make him happy. Whoever chooses to sponsor Magnificent could be the influence that helps him make godly choices for his life? Will you be the one?

Mganduzweni

In Mganduzweni, few people have employment, and those who do work in nearby towns as maids or gardeners. Unemployment soars to 70% here, and many of the community men have left to look for work elsewhere. HIV continues to deeply impact this community, as does prostitution due to its close proximity to local trucking routes. With a scattering of homesteads across the hillsides, this project sits at the end of the community about a mile in from the main road. Most people here have electricity. However, water is of major concern. They are reliant on the municipality truck to come once a month and fill any container left by the roadside. This truck often breaks down, and water is not reliable.

HOW YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE
All it takes is $39 a month to make a huge impact in this child's life! Your support goes directly to help provide for and empower them. Sponsoring a child will also impact your life!

GIVING HOPE IS SIMPLE, YET EFFECTIVE

Through CarePoints in local communities, Children's Cup provides the necessities and skills needed to thrive, but most of all we provide children the opportunity to learn about Christ.

Through generous sponsorship, you're providing hope and encouragement, but most importantly you're letting these children know their life has value and that they are loved. Thank you!
