Mayibongwe Gamedze

Say hello to Mayibongwe! This kind young man hopes to one day serve and protect his country by serving in the military. In the meantime, he is working hard in school. Math class is his favorite. Outside of school, he is known for his skills on the soccer field. This exciting game is his favorite past time. At home, he lives with his grandmother, brother, and sister. Their father is deceased, so Mayibongwe helps around the house by washing dishes. He keeps in good health, enjoying an occasional meal of chicken when they can afford it.

Sibusisiwe

The community of Lonhlupheko is drought-stricken. The landscape of the region is very flat with little vegetation due to the lack of rainfall. The people of Lonhlupheko plough just as hard as everyone else in the country, but because of the extreme heat, the crops dry out. This has led to high unemployment and extreme poverty.

eSwatini

Only slightly smaller than New Jersey, Eswatini is almost completely bordered by South Africa, with a portion of the country bordered by Mozambique. More than half of the population live below the poverty line, and around 38% of the population is under the age of 15.

HOW YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE
All it takes is $39 a month to make a huge impact in this child's life! Your support goes directly to help provide for and empower them. Sponsoring a child will also impact your life!

GIVING HOPE IS SIMPLE, YET EFFECTIVE

Through CarePoints in local communities, Children's Cup provides the necessities and skills needed to thrive, but most of all we provide children the opportunity to learn about Christ.

Through generous sponsorship, you're providing hope and encouragement, but most importantly you're letting these children know their life has value and that they are loved. Thank you!
