Naomi is a small girl with a big dream of becoming a doctor! She loves school and enjoys learning math. At home, she lives with her parents and three sisters. Her mom works as a security guard and her father as a driver to support the family. In her free time Naomi loves to play with her dolls.

Las Vinas

Las Vinas is one of the oldest neighborhoods in the town of Aguascalientes. The people who live here don’t have much access to education. It is considered to be one of the poorest areas of the city with a lack of water, sewerage, and electricity. Most of the kids are taken care of by their grandmothers, as their mothers are always working and there is usually an evident absence of a fatherly figure. The CarePoint here is a place for the children of Las Vinas to start dreaming of a hope for a better future.

Mexico is a large and beautiful country that is rich in resources. 45.5% of Mexicans live below the poverty line, surviving on less than one US dollar per day. The drug trade has ravaged this country, leaving broken families and crushed spirits in its wake.
