Dominican Republic

San Isidro

10/25/2012

Sarah Martinez

Sarah is excelling in her schoolwork, especially enjoying when they get to color. With a kind and loving heart, she will do well in her endeavor to become a doctor. For now, she likes to play with her baby dolls and draw pictures in her free time. Both of her parents are employed in a factory and work hard to provide for their two girls. A typical meal in their household is simply rice and chicken. Sarah is responsible for keeping the floor swept and clean. Will you be Sarah's sponsor and help encourage her to pursue her dreams?

San Isidro

San Isidro is a mixture of two communities. According to oral history, San Isidro emerged in the late eighteenth century. Many of the African slaves who were brought in to cut sugar cane escaped from the plantations and took refuge here, forming a small village. The people of this area perform different types of work. Some are drivers while others sell food, clothing, or candy from their houses. Moral corruption is a widespread problem.

HOW YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE
All it takes is $39 a month to make a huge impact in this child's life! Your support goes directly to help provide for and empower them. Sponsoring a child will also impact your life!

GIVING HOPE IS SIMPLE, YET EFFECTIVE

Through CarePoints in local communities, Children's Cup provides the necessities and skills needed to thrive, but most of all we provide children the opportunity to learn about Christ.

Through generous sponsorship, you're providing hope and encouragement, but most importantly you're letting these children know their life has value and that they are loved. Thank you!
