Sinikwe Magagula

Sinikwe lives with her parents and three siblings. Her assigned chore at home is to sweep the floors after a dinner of pap and beans. Her parents both work odd jobs to make ends meet. Sinikwe believes that she would like to be a nurse when she grows up, but for now she is happy spending her free time skipping rope. In school, this kindhearted young lady is learning to write and making fair grades. Will you encourage her to pursue her dreams? Will you choose Sinikwe?

Lonhlupheko

The community of Lonhlupheko is drought-stricken. The landscape of the region is very flat with little vegetation due to the lack of rainfall. The people of Lonhlupheko plough just as hard as everyone else in the country, but because of the extreme heat, the crops dry out. This has led to high unemployment and extreme poverty.
