Mechanic’s Program
A couple of months ago, Gerson, the owner of a mechanical workshop in La Barquita and his wife - who are devoted to the Lord - volunteered to serve in our Foundations Program by mentoring six young people from the CarePoint. They have not only imparted knowledge about mechanics, but also provided a small financial contribution to support their families, with the condition that the children attend school in the afternoon. What an incredible opportunity!
This initiative has profoundly impacted both the present and future of these kids.
This amazing couple serve as a role model to these young ones and their guidance is truly such a great gift from the Lord. Gerson shares that his dream is contribute to the personal and spiritual growth of these children, so that when they grow up, they become good men who fear God. And they have found the perfect way to do this - by integrating them into the workshop, where they impart wisdom and knowledge. Day by day, they’re following the Lord’s voice and we are so grateful for their friendship!
It gets even better! Last week, thanks to the generosity of our Friends at Rise Church, the students got an extra special surprise! They were filled with joy and excitement to receive and proudly donned new uniforms. Their spirits were lifted even higher when they received new tools, too! The generosity and support of our Children's Cup Friends, have not only motivated these boys but also provided them with the encouragement to pursue a valuable profession that promises a prosperous future.
