OUR work

We exist to change the odds for children in the world’s hardest places—not just for today, but for a lifetime.

Our work is grounded in the belief that every child deserves hope, belonging, and the chance to dream beyond their circumstances. Through a holistic, relational approach, we walk alongside kids and communities to build safe spaces, unlock potential, and cultivate lasting transformation.

it all starts at THE CAREPOINT

CarePoints are the heart of Children’s Cup. They are more than just safe places—they are the light in the community, drawing kids in with consistency, care, and hope. At a CarePoint, children find more than meals and medical care—they find connection, belonging, and the confidence to dream. It’s where physical needs are met, relationships are built, and lives begin to change from the inside out.

Children in poverty face daunting physical and emotional challenges, from preventable diseases and malnutrition to mental health struggles like depression and trauma. Without access to education, healthcare, or caring support, their growth and dreams are at risk. At Children’s Cup, we’re dedicated to breaking these barriers, restoring hope, and empowering kids to thrive.

The FRIENDSHIP MODEL

AT THE HEART OF CHILDREN’S CUP’S APPROACH TO CHILD DEVELOPMENT IS THE BELIEF IN THE POWER OF FRIENDSHIP AND THE LIFE-CHANGING IMPACT OF CONNECTION.

Our Friendship model incorporates the Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI™) approach, which helps kids feel safe, build trust, and learn from mentors who guide them.

STAGE ONE

EMPOWERMENT

Address the child’s physical needs to create a sense of safety and security.

STAGE two

CONNECTION

Build trust and strong relationships through attunement and nurturing interactions.

STAGE three

MENTORING

Teach appropriate social behaviors and self-regulation while maintaining connection and trust.

Hope isn’t just a feeling—it’s built piece by piece.

Research shows that lasting hope is formed when four essential needs are met: physical care, psychological safety, social connection, and spiritual grounding. For kids in hard places, these aren’t always guaranteed. At Children’s Cup, we meet these needs through consistent, caring friendship—giving kids the foundation they need to believe a better future is possible.

❤️

PHYSICAL HOPE

HOPE BEGINS WITH survival

“Am I going to make it through this alive?”
If the answer is “maybe,” then there is reason for hope.

Children’s Cup brings physical hope through access to vital healthcare, nutrition support, and sustainable solutions—ensuring children grow strong, healthy, and resilient.

🧠

PSYCHOLOGICAL HOPE

HOPE GROWS THROUGH mastery

When a child believes they have what it takes to overcome challenges—and sees a path forward—hope is born.

We foster psychological hope by building emotional resilience, mental well-being, and academic growth through healing, education, and consistent, supportive care.

🤝

social HOPE

HOPE IS NURTURED THROUGH CONNECTION

The presence of a caring, consistent relationship gives a child the strength to believe tomorrow can be better.

Children’s Cup cultivates social hope by building safe, supportive communities through mentorship, teamwork, and trusted friendships.

✝️

spiritual HOPE

HOPE IS SUSTAINED BY meaning

To truly hope, a child needs more than survival—they need a sense of purpose and direction.

We guide children to discover spiritual hope through biblical teaching, faith-based mentorship, and Christ-like character development.

HOW WE GROW
