SERVE Day

This month we linked up with Servolution to participate in Global SERVE Day!

The kids at our CarePoints had so much fun planning their own acts of kindness. At Guinea Grass, they chose to invite people experiencing homelessness to be their guests at the CarePoint.

While many of these men have been labeled as the “drunkards” and “rejects” of the town, the kids and team got to spend quality time with them and set the record straight - That they are treasured 💎 and that they matter to Jesus.

These honored guests got to sing songs, enjoy a warm meal, receive prayer, and hear the story about the prodigal son.

The kids also helped them to draw a picture of something that reminded them of God’s love and write down what they are grateful for.

One of the men wrote "Gracias a Jesucristo por un dia mas de vida." which translates to "Thank you, Lord, for one more day of life." along with a picture of himself.

It was so heartwarming to see them experiencing God’s love for them. 💓

And it was incredible to see the kids learning that they truly are world changers! 👏 🎉 GOD IS SOOOOOOO GOOD!!! 😍
