“The Best Moments of My Life, I Spend It at the CarePoint”
🌻 When Elodia, the Program Coordinator had a conversation with Adrian about the CarePoint, this is what he said:
"I like the food cooked at Marcus Canul CarePoint, and the programs there are wonderful and educational. They teach us about God, they always pray for me and my family, we sing together, and I enjoy being there. I feel very loved there. I want to thank you for providing our food; it's amazing, and also the best moments of my life I spend it at the CarePoint, enjoying the nice food you bless us with. May God continue showering your lives with blessings every moment so you can continue to bless and help children like me. I love you all from the bottom of my heart. ❤️"
🤓 Meet Adrian, a young boy with big dreams and an even bigger heart. Adrian has always aspired to be a skilled basketball player, but the chance to showcase his talent on a team only recently presented itself. At 15 years old, Adrian stands as the tallest among his family of eight, attending San Francisco School, in grade 8, where he proudly represents his school team on the basketball court.
🙏 Adrian's childhood hasn't been without its challenges. With his parents being separated and his mom working tirelessly, Adrian finds himself spending much of his time alone at home. He helps out a lot at home and has learned that life is hard and it is necessary to learn to be responsible. A few years ago, he was troubled, sad, hopeless, and just mad at life. But now, the changes he has made in his life are living proof that GOD IS STILL WORKING! Amidst the loneliness and difficulties, Adrian discovered God's love and purpose. He loves to be at the CarePoint. He loves the food, the programs, and all the team there. He might not laugh out loud and might be quite reserved, but he is always ready to lend a hand in serving or helping others; he serves as much as he can. He is respectful and even looks out for the younger kids at the CarePoint. He is now sharing the love and care he is receiving with others. His life is still in transformation. At the CarePoint, he has learned valuable lessons, he has welcomed the hope, love, care, friendships and support in his life.
❤️ Children's Cup and Marcus Canul CP hold a special place in Adrian's heart and is very grateful. It not only offers him the comfort he needs but also a sense of belonging, and PURPOSE. When he was crushed and hopeless in life, he was instilled HOPE AND LOVE, and now God has already started to bring out that world changer in him!!! 😥 It is impactful and heartwarming to hear a child say that THE BEST MOMENTS IN HIS LIFE ALWAYS HAPPEN AT THE CAREPOINT. If we were not obedient to God's calling, how could we impact Adrian and many others like him?!!! His life has been touched, impacted and changed for life! Let us keep him in our prayers and celebrate what God is doing and what he will continue to do!!! ❤️ GLORY TO GOD!! 🎉 WOOHOO!!! 👏
