“You told me you love me”

In one of the communities we serve, a group of teens were enjoying a game of soccer when a boy from a gang started bullying them.

A local pastor we partner with, Julio Quiroz, stepped in to break up the fight - but he felt a check in his spirit. Instead of scolding, he pulled the young man in for a hug and told him he loved him.

A few weeks later, Ps. Julio ran into that same young man. He found out he had decided to leave the gang and get a fresh start by joining our Port Loyola CarePoint . Ps. Julio asked him what changed his heart and he said “you told me you love me.”
